one major thing you will need to find out is about the computer and the compatablility with a bigger motor. If you can find someone to make a chip or if a jet chip will sufice, I would think that running your stock computer with a larger displacement and bigger cam would prove problematic for your computer.

It's amazing how complicated it has become to simply put a bigger motor in your ride these days. Laws, computers, emissions, yuck. :?

yea it sux trying to put in bigger engines into newer cars its horrible, hey jeepr89, the stock comp for th e4.0 will work fine with the new displacement.

hmmm i think im goin to do a 4.7 from a newer engine something like the 2000 with the DIS set up, that way i get rid of the distributor,
