Mysterious AT Fluid?

I have a '00 Tj, 5 speed, with NP 231 transfercase that has a Advance Adapters fixed yoke kit installed. While doing some offroading, I noticed fluid dripping from the CV joint of the rear driveshaft. The case and seal area of the transfercase were dry. It is red in color, so will assume it's AT fluid from the Transfercase. I wiped the joint off and then checked it when I got home. The CV was dry and the transfercase was not low on fluid. So where is it coming from and what is causing it? (this is not the first time this has happened).

Likely seaping through the splines on the output shaft. I'd check the condition of the rubber spline seal inside the yoke, make sure it isn't twisted or broke. Consider putting RTV on the splines when reinstalling the yoke.
