My passanger keeps drowning!!!

Hello again! Once more, I seem to have an issue with my be3loved Jeep. Each time it rains I get a puddle of water in the passanger side of my jeep. Anyone know why this is :-? [addsig]

I had that problem too. It could be two places it is coming from. I got so fed up with it one day that I sat in the jeep for a couple of hours when it stared to rain and watched it. The first place it was coming in was through the windshield hinge and it was dripping right between the speaker and the side wall behing the dash. It could also be coming from the door if the weatherstripping is not tight it will drip right down the edge of the door into the jeep at the bottom left corner of the door. I ended up caulking around the windshield hinges and getting ner weatherstripping.[addsig]

I aint no rocket sciencetist but I bet your Jeep leaks! hehehehehe I had a leak and went to the car wash with young son Jake and let him go wild with me in the Jeep. Windshild gasket and around the hinges leaked a bit, Door gaskets a bit, and other sources of unknown orgin. Now I know where it comes from and it still comes. Tug[addsig]

Thanks guys... Really helped. I'll get that fixed before I install the new speakers. Shouldn't cost too much. I'll start with the windshield gasket, and work from there ;-) [addsig]

My old YJ had a leak in the windshield gasket. The current YJ, when I hit a real big puddle (EX. river crossing) comes in through a hole that was drilled for aftermarket accessories that the sealer has given up on. might was to check those to make sure they are sealed
