Haven't got a chance to shoot it yet, but so far it doesn't like the first round out of one of the magazines. I'm going to strip everything down and clean it before I take it out and see if that makes a difference. Other than that, it has a little holster wear. Needs a little cleaning up, but for $650 I'm happy.

Great Choice. Congrats! it Looks almost like my 1991A1 colt. does it have an accurized barrel?

The UCII is a fine pistol. Some short barrelled 1911's have been known to have feeding issues with hollowpoints. You'll probably be fine but if not try CorBon's Powerball. They will feed reliably just like ball ammo and are a decent defensive round.

Anyhow that'll be a great CCW.
