My Grand wagoneer

I have a Jeep Grand Wagoneer 360 w/727 transmission and 229 transfer case. Just had a new transfer case put in my Jeep, now everything works sort-of. It might be a low transmission fluid issue but I'm just getting all the answers I can. My problem is the transmission will not go into 3rd gear, in goes into drive and reverse with no problem just will not go into high/3rd gear. Help I love my Jeep
