Home grown safari rack - check it out....
I have a 72CJ5 and was wondering if anyone could tell me the process for tighting the wheel bearings on the front end? I noticed a little play so I was going to repack the bearings and can not get to the nut to do so. I took the bolts out of the lock out and removed them, then the spacer behind that and the roller bearings fell out. I removed two snap rings, one regular and one split, still nothing. I just cant seem to get to where I need to be to tighten or repack the bearings. I have do this before lots of time on other 4x4 but not on this jeep. Someone give me an idea about it so I dont break something or make a big bo bo.
Thanks
