Lights

Hey guys, I've almost decided what roof rack to go with (leaning towards the Gobi ranger) and it has places for lights. I would like 4 frontfacing lights off the front of the rack and one rear one off the back. The front facing ones ideally would be the round type like KC or PIAA. the rear one I would like to be a small rectangular LED or something similar.

my question would be what company should I go with in your opinions. do any of you have any horror stories about a company or recomendations for another manufacturer? pictures are always welcomed but not needed. anyone's opinion is welcome as well.

I've used KC on several vehicles. They have a 23 yr warranty. Includes the bulbs. Had to use it and did with no issue.

Also I need help on sizing. how big is an 8" round light? the Gobi Ranger says it can accommodate a light that size but it seems a little big to me. size comparisons are greatly appreciated. I have no idea what size light to look for...

I've only seed 6" myself, and a quick amazon search only seems to turn up 6" KC HiLites

KC also seems to make the square leds too.

Larger are Rally lights and the small are the slim lights. Comparing against headlights. I'd pick long range for above the hood.

The KC case don't rust. That's what I noticed with the difference on those. I have KC's on mine after I replaced the cheep ones that came with it. the case was rusted out when I got it

Mine did. Looked like the seal failed and rotted from the inside out.

KC is definitely the way to go. They are very durable.
