lift blocks

I have a 97 ZJ with a 2" BB lift. i now have 33" tires and need just a little more room ( 1 or 2"). can coil spacer blocks be stacked? It seems somewhat dangerous if they came apart and the coil slipped off, but at the same time it seems like it would work and be ok because of the weight on the blocks. I would most likely just add a 1" or 1.5" block if i could, so it wouldn't be too tall and wanting to tip or spread.

So I guess i just would like some input, is this a absoulte no? or a possability? or no problem? Has anyone done this?

its actually your call as to what you feel is safe. i have seen 3" blocks used. i always just got springs when i went to 3" or higher though.

also, your in the general section. hit the cherokee section for more responses and someone will probably move this to that section in a bit.

I wouldn't do it. Too much height for stock control arms, gonna throw off your pinion angles, caster, and wheelbase.

Alright thanks guys, I'll probably just do some more trimming and suck it up, I don't have the money to get coils and a whole new set up

thev blocks on a zj are only supposed to give you enough room to run 31's, but i would just save for a suspension lift
