Lawn woes

This winter did a number on the lawns in the area. I try to care for our lawn. I’ like a thick carpet of grass you could walk around bear-foot on.
Last year it was purple creeping Charlie
This year dandelions . Everywhere are fields of wishies.
I have big dead spots and weeds everywhere.

i don't have to worry about that kind of stuff here along the coast. my yard is sand so all i get it weeds and junk. it would be super nice to have grass though

I have mountain property and barely any soil under the sod. Took me over 20 yrs to get it all green and I have no aspirations of a weed free lawn. Good thing too as last year our great granddaughter came over, pulled out a sandwich bag full of dandelions and proceeded to blow them across the yard.

Here's my front lawn. I put down artificial grass a couple of years ago and never looked back. Saves me about 3 minutes of mowing a week. I do have to hit it with a leaf blower every now and then.

Mine has other junk weeds. It was near perfect last fall. IDK

I don’t need weed free perfect. I just wanted to look nice.
