I have a 95 yj with the 2.5 4 cyl. its starts up fine and even revs up good but after a while, usually about the time it warms up, it starts to sputter and wont rev up and will eventually stall. some times it starts back up sometimes it has to sit a while. it has a new fuel filter and seems to have plenty of fuel pressure, when i took the line off to change the filter it had a good bit of pressure behind it. Im thinking fuel pump but dont know why it would run fine for a while. any help would be great. thanks

A bad catalytic converter will cause the engine to run worse as it warms up, the catalyst expands with heat and chokes off the engine. It will choke it to the point of dying.

The Catalyst would be a good one to diagnose for this condition. As the symptom occurs, see if the catalytic converter is cherry red or extremely hotter than normal. As mentioned by Bounty_Hunter, when it heats up, it will eventually choke the engine. With this, while the exaust is cold, you can loosen up the exaust flange enough for the exaust to escape before the catalyst and see if the symptom is still present. IF you have doubts with the fuel delivery, monitor the fuel pressure with a manual gauge and see if it intermittently drops when the symptom occurs.

Could be a coolant temp sensor or an o2 sensor as well both those can do funny things once its heated up or if your fuel pump is weak it could be getting hot and shutting off as well
