Clare. Named after a guy the wife works with who recently got rid of his Cherokee & he is an Indian (not a Cherokee he will quickly point out).

The rims were on there when I got it. Not the rims that were pictured, but I didn't realize it until after the deal was done. Oh well, they hold air.

That is exactly why we do those little things. To make it our own. If jcd302 likes them, that's good for him.

I was doing my usual saying things without thinking of how they sound. What got me in trouble in the army and continually gets me in trouble where I work now, as an army civilian

same here i just realized how this might sound to someone else and i dont mean to offend or make anyone feel cornered,
the awesome thing about owning a jeep is that you can make it look however you want and nobody will complain :)

I have thought about swapping the chrome wagon wheels from my Ranger (235/75R15) just to see how they look.

"VEX", Jeep number 26. 44 years of Jeeps and counting. It is named such from the book of Eccl. 2:11, "all things are vanity and VEXation of spirit and nothing is new under the sun...."

Or, to put another way, VEX is a hole in life that I pour money, time and energy into and barked knuckles...

VEX:

image-missing.png

Exiting Coronado, into the Sonora Desert Reach....

image-missing.png

Into the vastness of the Sonora...

image-missing.png

On lonely patrol, 470 miles into the Sonora, Tabasco State, Mexico..

VEX, in northern New Mexico, In the Gila National Forest, 2009, flexin'

It has 213k and is an '89. Starting to show his age. Kind of for sale now. If I sell it, I can fix up the XJ sooner. But then I would miss it. Only problem it has is a cracked windshield.
