Jeep introduces the Wrangler Nautic concept in Paris

Jeep appears to want a larger presence in the European market, so they've teamed up with French design studio Style & Design to create a pair of nautical-themed Wrangler Unlimited models that have been unveiled at the Paris Boat Show.

I hate that spare tire cover but I would buy one just for that wood deck cover. That is some good lookin materials and really represents the nautical theme.

Better then other members of jeeps new line up. Looks like it can handle some off road. I hate the rims and patterns. The sides of the jeep are too low. Like the deck cover. Good for touering yacht countries (Greece, parts of Spain, Australia... ). I respect the product placement as well.

That is their idea of nautical? I'm surprised there is not a mast, Navy blue and white theme and crossed gold anchors like on Mr Howell's hat. And an Anchor or helm covering the spare or steering wheel. Where are the life rings and bumper buoys?
Hope they realize they are going after a very pointed and small market and this "theme" idea does not become a direction for Jeep.
Now If they made it more amphibious, coming with snorkel, more water tight, Torque and HP to pull a boat off the launch with ease. Either better draining of hard to reach areas (frames) or more sealed.
