Hi guys.

Wonder if anyone can please help me. My Jeep Cherokee 2.8 CRD Automatic 4X4 speedometer is showing half the speed im driving. I have no idea what the problem can be. Any suggestions would really be appreciated.

What year Cherokee?
Do you have oversized tires?
Did you change rear gearing?
Was it always like this or just started out of the blue or started after something happening?

Bought it 2nd hand a week ago. Still the normal size tyers just new ones. I don't know what has been changed, so I'm looking for any information that can help me fix this problem. It's also heavy on diesel. Average 17.7 liter per 100km and I'm not speeding.

13 mpg is not horrible for a jeep.

This is a European jeep with a 2.7l diesel that should get 20-21 mpg.
I just reread and realized this is a diesel.
Sorry this (diesel) isn't my strength.
