Jasper transmission

I'm fed up and ready to look for a remanned transmission. The mechanic suggests a Jasper transmission. Any opinions on them? He is also recommending a larger cooler on the radiator. Opinions? Jasper apparently sells the 42RLE with a billet reinforced torque convertor. Other suggestions for what I could consider and why? I figure, if I am going to spend a couple G on a transmission, might as well consider a couple hundred in upgrades while I'm at it.

Don't they do engines also?

You could do a sun transmission. A few people in corpus run those and have had no trouble, even with 1800 HP on their daily drivers

their good but I'd try to stay local. Freight is $$. Go to a local race track nd ask around

I'm converting a 94 Grand Cherokee from the 42 to an AW4 (93 had them before the switchover) MUCH better trans and the fuel economy is better too. One of Chrysler's stupider ideas was that weak car trans in a 4x4.
