Instant Messengers, What do you use?

The IM is good when time is of the essence. Or you know you are going to be communicating here and there during a specified amount of time.

Some times the email thing is too cumbersome, and you end up responding to something while an email is currently being sent tell you to ignore the email you are replying to.

Chat is an actual conversation, and can be organic should the conversation take several turns.
