Installing 4" lift

You should be able to do it.I did mine in less than a day.The kit should come with instructions. At 4 inches you will need SYE and rear cv driveshaft.I have driveshaft issues on my 97TJ that only has 2.5 inches of lift.Plan it for a weekend and book a front end alinement for Monday

The very first mod I did to my Jeep (other than the center console and the seat covers) was to install a 4" lift (mine is a YJ, so it is leaf sprung; slightly different, but still...) and SYE. Me and the wife did the whole thing during a weekend, and, except for the vibes coming from the pinion angle needing adjustment, it was no sweat. For the SYE, though, make sure you have the right snap ring pliers (the ones that look like a duck's bill); this will save you many headaches (dont ask how I know!)

Any recommendations on a SYE to use? Also I'm doing a swaybar disconnect (part number: jks2001)

I just asked that same question. The thread is SYE which one?A few recomendations there.I would steer clear of hack n tap setups if you can afford it.

I have a PORC and I am happy with it. You can go the regular or super short route, but the regular SYE should work well for most applications (that is what I run). I have not heard bad things about any brand SYE, to be honest...
