Info center dead

Can someone tell me where to start looking for a fix? Last week my info center,radio,and heat and ac controls died. I checked all inside fuses all good. About a week before all this happened the info center lit up solid green for a few seconds then it went back to normal. It did this 2 or 3 other times.

Is this a Jeep Grand cherokee? what year?.

Yes this is a Grand Cherokee Limited. 1997

Check the wiring behind the radio, HVAC controls and info. center. make sure the connectors are seated properly.

Well I found the problem. I finally found a blown fuse replaced it with another same size. It blew it when I plugged it in. I knew there was a short somewhere. So I did no no I put a larger fuse in. A few minutes later a puff of smoke came out of the display center. I opened it up and found a burnt spot on the circuit board. The radio and AC started working again.

The factory uses a certain size fuse for a reason.Going with a bigger fuse can only cause worse problems.
