Ignition???Blown Relay?????

So I've got an 88 Jeep Cherokee automatic, with a 4.0HO. I'm driving along, and all of a sudden the vehicle sputters once, twice, three times, and then dies. So I'm a little taken off gaurd, so I throw it in neutral, and try to turn it over. It turned over, but wouldn't start. Then nothing. Now it's parked, and everything basically works that doesn't need the ignition to be on. Hazards, power locks, lights, all work. Power windows, radio, all that doesn't work at all. I'm fairly new to these Jeeps, and don't know much about them. To me it sounds like I blew a relay maybe, but really it's only a guess. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

You need to plug that thing up to a code reader.....could be anything

Had this on my '88, and it was a loose ignition wire. Had to replace the TSP and IAC motor as well. I had a shop fix it, I hate troubleshooting electrical.

I just replaced my fuel pump relay...but mine is a 97 sport...just a thought...mine kinda was doing that same thing (read the thread "starting problems..help")...
