If you had....

I would get an SOA, 35X12.5R15 tires, and gears. that should be somewhere around 2,000

If your going to keep it a daily driver and drive it on the road alot, I dont think id go with an soa. Get an RE or BDS lift, 33s and some other goodies like wheels and such

Id lift it and cram some 32's or 33's under it, then spend whatever change was left on enough beer and gas to get me through the next weekend wheelin and camping :)

With a 4 banger I would go with a 3.5" Rough Country or other quality brand of Lift and a set of Argessive 31's. This is being said cause you will loose much of the already alloted power to turn any thing bigger. I know I will get pounced on for this one but you ask and I am given you the smartest not the coolest way to go. I did this mod set up to a 87 yj and with that small change 5th gear was only for coasting at full throttle down hill on the hwy's. Off road it was a good set up for me andthe type trails I ride. Could not start to think what anything bigger would have been like on the 4 banger. Of course if you plan to regear and all of that good stuff go bigger! But with 2K to spend you aint going to do to much more than that. Just my 2 cent's tug

Rough Country Lift - $425 shipped (self-install)
Alloy Wheels w/ proper backspacing - $400
Meats - $700 installed on new wheels
Rear Ez-Locker - $250 (self-install)
Leftover is for the gas.
Re-gearing would be another $400 if you can do it yourself.

I agree with HI C But to save in the cost
go with 32" tires $500
keep your rims! freebie! (he already has aftermarket wheels)
Re-gear to 4:56, and have some one do it $600-$800 (depends on shop)
Buy Johnny Some beer cause he is gonna put your lift in! (coors light)
