Hey Everyone
Just wanted to knew I got A 95 Grand Cherokee and hasn't been co-operating lately just cleaned the idle air control (IAC) and after cleaning it it just started sputtering oil and smoke and seized. so I started it up again same thing..... sputters, smoke comes out and just seizes. so I take it out and looked at the IAC again noticed it isn't sticking out, so i go out again and plug it in again. Don't worry I unplugged the battery so I hook up the IAC but not putting it back in just plugged it in and plugged the battery back on then I start up the jeep the IAC pops out the way it should look like, than i put it back in start up the jeep again same thing. so I unplug the IAC while it runs to my surprise engine keeps running and no sputter or smoke so I drive it back an forth round and round let it idle for a couple mins same thing no smoke and was wondering what will happen if runs longer with the IAC unplugged?
