overbuild the motor? what is this concept?

I think I have heard of this, but it is european styling or something, All I know is that is does not pertain to an american motor!!

Vehicles which posses these so called "overbuilt" engines are much funner to drive on the road than regular engines. It's always a good feeling when your sitting at a traffic light and know for a fact that you can smoke whatever pulls up next to you!!! Trying to keep the thing running while driving down city streets is all part of the fun.

i think the phrase "overbuild the motor" is really a misconcieved way of saying "underbuild the rest of the vehicle"

Yes that is true Snitty.
A Torque Converter will hide the bad idel. Nothing like the smell of leaded fuel.
All i ment to say was build the motor for the correct purpose, I have a few cj owners on hold for when the car is wrecked. I guess the cj came with or will bolt up to a buick block. ?.
