Hi, um, I can't get the search to give me anything on the steering aspect of doing a SOA on a CJ...... could maybe a moderator or one of the jeep know-it-all's give me a hand? The help would be much appriciated.

I found these:

http://www.jeepz.com/index.php?name...t=0&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=soa+cj

Just type SOA and CJ and click the radio button that says "Search for all terms"

Terry upgraded the search feature and i'm noticing it's doing a better job now.

Once again: "Yay Terry" :D

Jeepz.com is one of the only places on the net where you don't absolutely NEED the search command... Most other forums are full of people who will just say "its been covered before, just do a search"... A person might not ever find what they want.

The people here are great. Anyone can come to this forum and ask anything. Nobody gets flamed for asking a "stupid question". Even if someone does suggest using the search command, there are always those who do the search for them and will post the results... You guys rock

Very good point, Snitty!! I love jeepz! I, unfortunately, tell folks to try a search every now and then. I've tried it myself quite a bit and it can be frustrating. But I do love the way we'll all answer stuff over and over and who give's a rat's a$$ if it's been asked before?!?! And folks do search for others on here (I've done that, too). Great, great, forum!!! Yea, Terry!!!

Oh, yeah, BTW prarie......you don't want to use the "search" feature at the left of the screen. Use the one at the top of the page when you're on the "Index" page. That's the only one I use.....the one at the left gives me some really wierd results!!

I like answering people's questions over and over...makes me sound more smarter than I really are!

RE: not in 4 wheel

How would I get my SUA to do this?

I'm not arguing the fact that the SOA flexes better, but that pic isn't that impressive.

RE: some CJ stuff still avail

Yeah, let's not forget that even if questions are answered over and over, paradyms are broken and MORE information seems to come out each time.

For example, the different search links. I bet that's never been brought up before. Good job Mud.

True. We all learn constantly, and as a result answers may change as info/tech advances. I know I learn alot here, and I've been messing with Jeeps for a pretty long time. I love this place. No one seems to think they have all of the answers like on alot of boards that I've seen. You get a good general view of how things work in different areas and in different curcumstances. Some overbuild, some underbuild, some don't build.....but most any of the views posted here seem to be considered and treated with respect by the other members.

Ok, I've seen better, but compared to MY jeep with the 2" lift Rancho springs.... that (the pic) is awesome

RE: XJ Videos

I'm going to look into merging the two search functions, and hopefully making everything alittle easier.

Try the normal search on the left now. I added the forum in there, so those results should be included. Still doesn't give as many options as using the search at the top of this page, but it does at least return some results.

RE: Hot foot

My SUA would flex more than that...with smaller tires too.
