How much would you expect to pay..

So this is just me being a newbie, like usual.:roll: How much would you expect to pay for a dana 44 or a ford 8.8? Just your opinion/ballpark estimate. Also where would you look to find them online? Thanks you for time ahead of time.

Buddy of mine found a dana 44 on craigslist for $250

The question is do you want a complete bolt in with everything loaded in it? Or do you want one that is bolt in ready without the extras or the DYI axle that you would have to mount your own hangers to installing gears and or lockers? Or the very extreme of one that you would have to cut down, buy axle shafts, weld on hangers to remounting the end caps, ect?

A good used full size dana 44 from a local pick and pull can run you any where from 150$ to 250$.
A fully loaded axle off the net can run you up to 3000$ And that is just for the rear axle, 4-5000& for a Dana 44 front.

Forgot to mention, rear 44. And I'm hoping for a bolt in. I'd take a stock one, wouldn't mind building it myself, just don't want to deal with to much extra hassle just trying to make it fit. I'm not lazy, just don't have the time to do it myself, or the money to pay someone else to.
