how hard

It would require some welding, but it could be done. You'd probably have to remove the gas tank while you
did it. It's only plastic on top and would melt real quick once you cut through the bed. Remounting the
seatbelts to the forward poles on the roll cage would be straightforward. The brackets at the bottom would
be tricky.

Keep in mind, depending on what state your in, if they have a safety inspection, it would probably fail.

It would certainly be unique, I'm not sure of the advantages though.

I don't know of any safety inspection things here in colorado. Its just annoying having to pull the seat forward and stuff when people are getting in. Most people can't figure it out and its annoying. [addsig]

Take the top off. Make em climb in...

It would probably be easier to extend the lever for throwing the passenger seat forward.

I have learned that in my YJ that if you are in the back seat you can use the top of your foot to lift the bar that releases the seat to fold forward. You can also do so from the drivers seat by reaching under the pasenger seat from behind and lifting the bar rather than climbing over the pasengers seat to get to the lever. I hope that made some sort of sence. I hated this untill I figured this out. It is real ez for all to do don't know about TJ's. Giver er a try! Tug[addsig]
