I've got the urge to do some upgrades, and I'm thinking a lift. I'm currently running a 2 inch budget boost (including longer shocks) with 31s and JKS quicker disconnects. I plan on going to 33's when my current tires wear out. I'm going to keep the stock axles, and only do moderate wheeling (on rocks) 2 or 3 times a year.
So, my question is, should I buy new 2.5" springs and a 1" body lift, or a suck it up and buy a full 4" kit?
As far as I can tell, the 4" kit will cost me around $1200, while I'll spend $400 on new springs (and longer brake lines).
