A couple weeks ago I posted a topic"Gross antifreeze smell!" Most of you guys confermed my first thought... leaky heater core... So I went to go buy a Heater Core and a Chiltons manual... just for the fun of it I asked pepboys what they would charge me... 270 bucks! I laughed in thier face and walked out the door... I started the job... 4 hours later I finished... and with a new knowledge of why the wrangler is built the way it is... Hood that opens WIDE OPEN, flat fenders for putting tools on, metal thing on top of alternator to stand on to access firewall, flat bumper for stepping up into engine... BRILLIANT! The job would take about an hour less if I knew what i was doing... but anyway, thanks for the help... and if anyone needs to know how to change a heater core... just ask... [addsig]
