ok the high steer kit on my 88 yj. is intalled, now it required 92 brakes says the install instuction i bought 91 by accident but they fit like they should. now when i bolt on the tire the rotor hits the knuckle and the tie rod end hits the tire. now talking to a 4wheel shop they got a tire spacer to fix the tie rod problem , hadnt heard of the rotor issue befor. i sent teraflex an email , they asked about the wheel bearing but didnt give me any more info. is there different hub/bearing out there that are longer? i was thinking about spacing it out with some washers ,does that sound like it could work? im stuck friends . i cant drive my jeep with the high steer on it cause of the reverse shackel and spring over on it but with it on i cant move . so im freakin out i want to go wheelin. thanks for anything i can get

Allen,
are you installing this:
High Steer System | TeraFlex Suspensions

In reading about it I see this line:
NOTE: The high steer system is not an all inclusive kit. Additional modifications will be required that are not included in the TeraFlex high steer system. These modifications may include front swaybar links, front trackbar mounting, and offset wheels.

So I'm guessing that's why you had the problem with your tie rod hitting the tire.

As to why your rotor hits the knuckle I'm not sure. I would not just space it out with washers though - I'd take some photos and email them to teraflex fully describing your problem, then call them on Monday. They are a good company, and if you just dumped $700 into a high steer kit they are sure to give you some support.
