New member here... not exactly a Jeep owner as of yet. I am what you would consider a Jeep lover who knows little about Jeeps and am having a very hard time trying to pick out what to get. I hope to be one soon though.

I'm sure what ever you buy you will end up loving. Just be sure to check the frame for rot and for the usual jeep suspects on the engine and drivetrain. Post up questions on models or flip through the posts on the models you are considering.

If you want an older one, get down south and drive it back. I bought an 08 truck in Louisiana and there wasn't a spec of rust on the under carriage 130k on it. Used as land scape hauler
