Hey Jeepz!

So, did anybody go to an Easter Sunrise Service? I didn't. 2nd year in a row for me that I didn't go. I used to love them, but now our church has wimped out and has them indoors.....rather pointless if you ask me. The main reason for them being called "Sunrise Services" is because you sit out in a pasture somewhere, snuggled in blankets, and watch the sun come up while singing hymns and listening to the gospel.

Anybody got any family coming in for Easter? Not me. Bummer, too. Of course, I've only got a brother and sister that live out of town. My other brother lives next door to my mom, 2 blocks from me, so we'll all get together, along with my son, his wife, and my grandson.

Happy Easter to all...

I'm stuck working this afternoon, can't spend time with the family for dinner... Could be worse...

Had big plans... which included 2 dinners and an Easter egg hunt.

3 out of 7 are sick. We're staying put and I'm going to have to settle for a cold cut sammich and a hard boiled egg. Kids are pretty bummed but at least we are spending it together.

No sunrise svc, but we went to a pretty awesome play last night.

Nice servise...indoors though.
Spending my day collecting camping equipment and dreaming of slickrock

May god shine his grace on thee and thy families.

We had a pretty good Easter although my daughter got way too much candy from us, my parents, wife's dad, wifes mom, and school. The strange thing is is that we have the only 4 year old around that doesn't like candy very much. She'll eat some of the jelly beans and lollypops and peeps but she doesn't like gum and chocolate. So every Haloween and Easter we always end up having a bucket of candy that the wife and I snack on for months.

Hope you all had a Happy Easter. Spent my first Easter away at college. No family to stay with, not even my girlfriend :(. But I did have myself a nice Easter dinner so I geuss its all good.
Mike
