Help with hypertech

Hi I just purchased a hypertech programmer for my 4.0 2002 grand cherokee just wondering if anyone knows what I should set my shift points and rev limiter at for best performance but minimum damage to truck Thanks

I wouldn't change the rev limiter unless the engine has been modified to spin up easier. Don't know on the shift points.

when i had one for my z28 they recommended tuning shift points at a drag strip is what the manual said or under a control test to see what benefits you best .... i set mine to stay in 3rd gear longer because 4th was a lil too tall for the shift but other than that i left alone .... and like bounty said dont screw with your rev limiter unless you've had the engine tweeked or it could mean diaster for stock internals
