Hello; I recently bought my first 4x4 a 97 Grand Cherokee Limited. 4.0 petrol I bought it on E Bay, it needs a fair bit of work, it pulls to the right and the axle groans after about 7 miles.
However I only paid a few hundred £s for it and as I love all things mechanical it will make an interesting project. Hopefully I will have it sorted for the winter, I know absolutely Nothing about Jeeps so hopefully you folks on here can give me some advice

I'm also into Jaguars, my daily driver is a 96 X300 3.2 with 18" alloys 8)

Here is the Jeep -

Nice! Welcome to Jeepz! A plethora of information awaits you! One day before I die, I hope to be able to travel to Scotland......a many year fascination of mine!

Thank you for the kind welcome folks 8)
I had the Jeep checked over in the garage today, it is in generally good condition, they greased the steering and it now handles a lot better.
Main faults are driver side front spring and pair of front discs required.

I'll soon get a S/H spring on 'E' and discs only cost £45 a pair :)

Hi Scottie, great part of the world you come from albeit always overcast or raining. Our head office is in Aberdeen so often travel there for meetings or training.

I picked up a S/H coil spring on E bay for £35 so things are working out fine.
