heater hoses sizes

I am trying to hook up my heater core. The fittings are 1/2" for the core and 3/4" to engine and water pump.

Did Jeep use connectors to reduce down to fit?

I don't have anything to go by. Wasn't hooked up when I got it. Thanks!

What model/year Jeep? My "78CJ(258) uses 3/4". My "95YJ(4.0L) looks like 5/8"

This is for wifes 75 cj5.
304ci, 3 speed.
The heater core has 1/2" barbs, while the fitting at back of engine is 3/4" barb.
I just wanted to know what fittings, size etc some other cj5 owners have on their rig.
