heater box question

Does a heater box assembly contain the "mode" door or
vent as I know it. The lever on there is broken thus no heat,
and was told I need the whole heater box assembly.

the heater box apparently has a vent or door inside controled by the temp. switch
not the one by the passenger door,which is causing a no heat problem. There
is a lever controlling that door that is broken and was told its not sold separatly
and that I need the whole heater box assembly. I was told its called the mode door
