hardtop hoist

Has anyone built a hoist for a jeep hard-top? I have seen a few for sale and it looks like I could build one from home-depot parts pretty easy and mount it in my garage.
Thoughts? Ideas?

I recently purchased an electric Jeep top hoist. It would be very simple to build. The hoist came from Harbor Freight sales and the other items could be purchased from a Home Depot or similar.
It sure makes it alot easier than having to deal with ropes and pulleys etc.

They make clips that grab the gutter and under the back hatch door to lift with. You can probably make those or come up with a better way of grabbing it. The rest of the parts are easy enough to get. Use a hand winch that either uses a worm gear drive or has a lock lever on it (boat trailer winch).
