HAPPY FREAKIN' BIRTHDAY, DUDE!!!

24, huh? Dang, you don't look a day over 40! Hope you have a great one, as I'm sure you will. Suck down a beer for me, ok?

Thanks everybody!

Yep... 24 is all I am. I'm told sometimes that I think beyond my age, surprises people when they find that I'm still very much a young'un... This birthday marks exactly 31 years before I can retire from my job, which I love so much... Nice cool sunny day here in Michigan, can't ask for too much more on my birthday. Tonight's plans include the following...

*sigh*

The concert was the most beautiful thing I have experienced in a very long time, perhaps ever. In ninety minutes time, I was reminded of the fact that there is still good. It still exists. People cared enough to restore Orchestra Hall, and save it from the wrecking ball. People cared enough to share their gift and create something for the sole purpose of making others happy, and making the world a better place by doing so. This is something that, in this world of people doing anything possible to get ahead, stepping on their fellow men in the process, I need to be reminded of...

I'm thankful for the concert, because without it, I can quite honestly say that this day would have been a total and absolute bust. It was that bad, bad to the point that it came quite close to negating the good that I felt at the Symphony...

People can be just great sometimes, I gotta tell ya...

On a more positive note, check this out *dialup beware*

This is the virtual tour of the Max M. Fisher Music Center. I was in Orchestra Hall. You can see what I mean about it being a beautiful experience, there is no other word for it...
