greenreaper93 m/c question

Thanks for the response to my question with regards to replacing the clutch master cylinder in my gals 93 yj. You stated that recently you replaced your clutch m/c, I have one additional question for you. Every clutch m/c i've seen has a threaded port for the hydraulic line that supplies the slave cylinder. My gals jeep has the same set up as yours with the pin and don't believe these clutch m/c will not work without some sort of mod to the hydraulic hose/line or puchasing a new line with the mating fitting. The replacement p/n I've been seeing is 4636865, is this the same p/n that you replaced your clutch m/c with? Regards, Frank

Greenreaper93 and anyone else who would like to chime in. The master cylinder part number 4636865 is a after market part and not oem. The stealership wants $209 and I've found aftermarket parts from $58-$89. Perhaps I should look into just a rebuild kit anyone have any ideas they would like to share? Thanks, Frank

When I ordered my m/c it came with a replacement pin for the hydralic hose line. I would assume that you'll receive a similar one. I purchased mine from Advanced Auto Parts for roughly $79. I tried to look for a rebuild kit, but fell short of finding one. I hope that answers your question Frank! :) Sorry it took so long to reply... computers are bittersweet at best  Good Luck!
