Getting better fuel mileage with

I just started using Lucas Fuel treatment in my 89 YJ 4.2L carb. I have seen a nice improvement in my gas mileage as well as it idling better. I was rather surprised to see such a change in the preformance with initial treatment. :shock:

I use it every other tankfull works great..and i use the oil treatment also.

Great stuff! It lubes the valves in the carb that are vacuum controlled and makes them work better as well as improve valve guide lube and open/closing tighter.

Buy it at walmart for $10 a quart and then fill one of the small bottles for fill up. Best deal ever.

I won't argue the improved operation, I have put restore into the crank case of my 98 GMC since 60K miles, not 200+K.
...but to be a devil's advocate I can't see the addition of the treatment being more of a cost benefit.. at $10 per bottle, that equates to about 4 gallons of gas.

do you think you are gaining enough milage to equal 4 gallons of gas (say 40 miles base on an increase to 10 mpg?)

$10 for a big enough bottle to treat 100 gallons. Runs better and gets better economy? Seems worthwhile to me! I sometimes use Seafoam additive as well.
