Gears for 89 I6 258 YJ??

What was the gearing for the inline 6 258 yj's? is it 3.07 or 3.73? anybody know?[addsig]

I think it depends there should be a little tag on your rear diff that tells you what ratio you have. I have 3.54 in an 89 YJ[addsig]

3.07 with the 5-speed. Check the first three numbers on the diff tag.[addsig]

THAT MUST BE WHAT I GOT 3.07..cause i got the 258 with 5 speed...reason why i ask is that i am swapping out axles for ones that have 4.10's in em....should give me a l;ttle more grunt on the trails and i can run the 35 super sweamper tsl i am gettin...thanks all
