pulled tag of front diff on the flatie today to read ratio but I forgot the formula on how to to it , the tag reads 43
over ----- over

If I multiply 8x43 I come up with 5;38 is this right not sure if I did the formula right

Yes, your 3B has the "Off Road Gearing option" that Willys offered in 54. It actually works out to 5:375.1 but they call it 5:38.1.

Formula . . . . 43 divided by 8

by the way, about 45/50 mph is about all you're gonna get, it don't care if it's a Corvette motor or 4 cyl, it ain't goin fast.
 
well its a rockcrawler not a hauler lol wanted to order lockers before next season
ordered motor mounts on fri wire harness last week and adapter for transfer case to transmission today Im stoked
 
If you have stock axles still, D44 rear, D25 front, GOOD LUCK. You'll be pressed to find some. I have only found Lock-Right lockers. Detroit lockers don't make them for the 10 spline D44's or D25, and no one else either. If you find some let me know who. You gotta stock input for a T90 up there?

I was thinking lock rights , if I dont like how it performs when I get it going I got 2 dana44s with I think 4;55 out of a old bronco Ill try next lol :D only thing is there both lunch boxed
