I put those 31x10.50's on the other day, don't have a lift yet but they raised me up at least 2 inches from my stock tires, Parked next to a 2003 at work, he has 30x 9.50's and now I'm taller than him, he he he he.   :-D :-D :-D

Cool. You can always trim those YJ flares at the first molded line, gives about an 1" clearance.[addsig]

I want put 31x10.5 on my YJ. would a 2 in body lift allow me to do this and have good suspension travel?[addsig]

i trimmed my flares at that line... not one person has ever noticed that they were trimmed... but people did think i lifted it because of it... that was before my small lift[addsig]

a Sawzall will leave a bit of a jagged edge! The next best thing would be to use a cut off-wheel! Cleaner cut. if you can get your hands on a plasma cutter, go for it, fast clean and somewhat simple!

no power cutters at all.... i used some metal shears myself... 10 minutes and a tired hand later... all 4 flares were cut with a perfect, non jagged edge[addsig]

Go with a air sheet metal cutter it works wanders and no
tired hands just don't put anything in front of it you don't want cut.,,,, :-D  [addsig]
