Full door mirrors

I was thinking of taking off the little tiny side mirrors off my full doors. I bought the CJ type of large mirrors since I had my doors off all summer and I like these better, but now the mirrors bang into each other.
If I take the little full door mirrors off will there be a hole in the door where it was mounted??

Yes, there will be a little hole! If you really don't care, a little silicone chalking in there to prevent rust and your good to go! Or a little bondo, sand, prime paint and match sand to your original paint. Fun! NOT!
