Fuel injector replacement and overall EPA questions

Hello!

Recently I swapped stock fuel injectors on my 1987 Wagoneer Limited. It fires up right away, doesn't stall or misfire. But it runs RICH. I assi swapped the fuel rail regulator, coolant temperature sensor, all throttle sensors. I've cleaned the cooling and fuel systems the best I can with rust treatments and Lucas products.

Any thoughts on what else I can check?

1.) Have you reset the PCM/ECU??
Disconnect the battery and turn the key to start so all charge is blead out of the electrical system. Reconnect the battery.
This resets stored/learned settings back to factory. Then they are relearned over the next number of starts from cold to running temp and above 35 mph driving.

2.) Have you measured the fuel pressure?

3.) Have you connected a Computer to read O2 levels?

1 - yes. But I haven't done anything except in town driving.

2 - no. What do you recommend i try to rent out from an auto parts store?

3 - I've attempted it. There isn't anyone around who can do it. There is no standard obd2 hookup

87 used the older renix fuel injection. Are the injectors low or high impedence for that type and year? If it uses low and you replaced with high, your ecu capacotors will burn out after a while as the new injectors have to much resistance.

I kind of remember bmw guys having the same issue when accidentally putting the wrong impedance injectors in but google first

Ooo dang I think they might be high.

I even had help picking them out. Ha. What happens if they turn out to be high impedance?
