front end vibration

RE: Custom Built YJ

My 97 starts to shake when I hit around 50-55 mph. I have changed all types of things such as the steering shock, front shocks, even new tires because the shake made them wear wrong and they became so bad I had to! I am sure it is in the suspension somewhere, but can anyone send me in the right direction?
Thanks-a-million

Could be a worn front trackbar bushing, but judging from the uneven tire wear, you probably just need a front end alignment.

Does it have a suspension lift on it?

BTW, welcome to Jeepz

Most likely a worn out front track bar, or bad bushings in the control arms. Watch every suspension component closely while somebody turns the steering wheel from full lock to full lock. Have them turn the wheel a little off of full lock and back, quickly. You'll likely see movement in the upper end of the front track bar.
