Hey all, just want to know if anybody has attemted to do this mod. I just picked up everything I need, $15, real cheap. I have a good idea what to do, just looking for some extra pointers.
Thanks in advance.

I did mine about a month ago and it was'nt too bad. I cut the hole about half an inch too small. If you then make small cuts about every inch arround the whole to create tabs that you can bend back it works very well. This does'nt leave you with a jagged whole and if you take your time will turn out really nice. Let us all know how it goes :-D [addsig]

Give me a little info on this mod please. Where did you get the lights and what do they cost? Is there any kind of rewireing headaches? Some pics would be nice too. Thanks for any help. Tug[addsig]

One day in school when i was messing around on the net i found a web site where a guy was restoring a jeep and he did this mod along with alot of other ones, he used the stock tail lights and cut the hole to let the back part fit in and just had that 1/4" part where the cover is out, so they were not excatly flush but only stuckout about a 1/4".... he also did a TJ gas tank mod where he moved the gas filler from behind the licen plate and moved it to the side, all he did for that is buy the houseing the TJ filler uses from a wrecked TJ and cut the hole in the side where it is on a TJ and then bought the TJ licen plate holder and put it on the back, cant rember weather he patched the hole from the stock filler or not.....i'll try and find the web site and put a link on it here if i can  [addsig]
