I was reading the til light post and i just had a super idea on how to get a flush mount led tail light with reverse and directional!
Find a junked 73-87 chevy pick-up, blazer, suburban (hundreds of those around) cut out the tail light bucket with the lens, light sockets and some of the wires (enough to splice into the factory wiring) and just weld them into the corner of your jeep! install those LED replacement lights autozone carries and BAM!!
I chose these light cause of the availability, te lights are externally secured with torx screws(god knows a jeep needs more of those) and follow the same 90 degree contour of a jeep tub. I just went out and measured the Tail lights on my 77 blazer and it looks like they would fit perfect!
I know it is not bolt on, but I bet it would look killer.
I am going to look into this more!
