Faded Fender Flares...

Well I've decided that i'm tired of seeing my gray fender flares and i'm ready to do something about but i am stuck. I want to paint them but cant decide between just plain black, bedliner stuff, or painting them the same color as the Jeep, Which one would look the best? Thanks.

Forever Black FB080 - Forever BLACK™ Cleaner & Reconditioner Combo - Quadratec if its really bad this stuff has black dye in it,.... I used "mothers back to black" after a few apps the flares looked pretty good..... If you must paint them I hear the word is used "krylon fusion" spray paint, as far as the color.......black always seems to look better IMO.

Ive tried the heat gun it just comes right back a few weeks later.

I'm not a fan of bedliner on the outside. I prefer to treat my flares with mother's back to black every month, instead of rattle caning them once a year. Personal preference I guess.

Stock flares tend to fade in a uniform fashion, while painted flares end up looking scratched like this:

Krylon Fusion flat black. They come out great and don't fade.

If your going to paint then use the krylon fusion SATIN black it looks great and holds up really good too
