engine swap

I have a 99 grand cherokee with a 4.7 liter v8. I blew up the motor a few weeks ago and I have found a chevy 350. I was wanting to know if anyone knew anything about swaping engines and could help me out. Would that motor even fit and what would I be getting myself into if I tryed it?

Why bother? That's a ton of headache between size, electrical, FI, etc. Just find a replacement engine, and hop it up if you feel the need. At least then you'll have a v8 that can bolt and plug in.

Ya, like Bounty said you're better off just finding a motor that's a direct bolt in.
