Electrical problem at start-up...

My AC, radio, wipers and turn signals are not working when I start the vehicle.

They all work when the ignition is on ACC.

Over the past couple of weeks, this was an intermittant problem and it would correct when I jiggled the key in the ignition. But twice in the past two days this fix hasn't worked and I've had to drive home from work like this despite the fact that everything worked during the morning commute.

Is it a short in the ignition or what?

Home fix or shop repair? Money is tight so a home fix would be preferable if it's a plug and play type remedy.

First, check the connections on the ignition switch by removing the upper and lower steering shroud/cover. Also, check the fuses under the hood and behind the glove box. If you dont find anything wrong with the connection, replace the switch. Plug and play with a little bit of work.

X2 Sounds like your ignition switch but always check the fuse box before replacing anything else.
