E-Brake woes...

Ok, not sure whats up...My e-break goes in just fine but then 2 maybe 3 seconds later just pops strait back out....What the heck. It seems mechanicly fine i took it out and it seems alright. what could be causing this?

Is it a YJ? What year?

There was a recall on some YJ's for that. If yours is included they will replace the whole assebly for free.

It's a recall..............Take to a dealer and get the whole thing replaced. They should replace your rear drums as well if they haven't already.

Dunno exactly, They replaced mine for some reason and said it was a recall.

Hrmmmm, i have no doubt that its prolly a recall, i looked and it dident show up for my year, but it does for the 90...mines an 88. Its prolly the same one. Do u think they will replace it even if its not on there as a recall?
