Driveshaft

Do i need to do anything to the driveshaft on a 95 yj with 2in shackle replacements and thinking about a 4in lift.

Most people go straight for a SYE with 4" of lift. It's not a bad idea to just go ahead and do one with that much lift either, but it can be avoided in most cases.

The 1" of shackle lift isn't going to require any Dshaft mods, but when you combine it with that 4" suspension lift.....I'd plan on it. I ran a 93 model four cylinder for awhile with that same setup, and no SYE or special shaft. I had lots of problems, and I would have went with a SYE if they were available then like they are now. I think M.I.T. had just come out with theirs(or I just heard about it) about the same time I got it straightened out and din't need it anymore.

You might have to shim the rear axle with the shackle lift, it messes with your pinion angle pretty good. It'll also FUBAR your caster on the front, funkitizing your steering.

This is considering you're only 'thinking' about the 4" spring lift, that's another can of worms.

I'd avoid a shackle lift if I were you, there's better methods of gaining a little height.
